Westfield Elementary School

At Westfield Elementary School, we believe in the power of a child’s mind, and we use that belief, paired with decades of educational experience as teachers, school administrators, and parents, to provide the best possible programming to promote innovation in children. We know that a child’s capacity to learn and innovate is unleashed when we engage with them, and that’s what drives our staff, partners, and educators to move forward.

The program at Westfield Elementary School is designed around the idea that students should be active participants in their own learning while also experiencing increased control of that learning. Our program offers a flexible format to encourage students to make choices about what and how they learn during their before- and after-school programs. This approach is coupled with the training we provide to our staff, which teaches them to act as learning facilitators, so we’re confident that our program better positions Innovation Learning students for success. Over our decades as career educators, our team has crafted the ideal framework that marries structured, research-based, and skill-building methods with adaptable, creative frameworks that allow children to become innovators.

Innovation Learning is a place where children can be physically active, mentally engaged, and creatively inspired while still focusing on the characteristics rooted in innovation: Collaboration, Curiosity, Communication and Creative Problem Solving. Every program at Westfield Elementary consists of weekly components: Innovation Stations, Academic Support, Discovery Play, and TINKER Time.

  • “The team is amazing - great caregivers and very nice people. I have great confidence in them and can leave my granddaughter there without any worries. Gives us such peace of mind which is important to us. I also appreciate how well stocked the center is. There is an abundance of supplies for crafts, work and play.
